The USDA food environment atlas data-set was downloaded from http://ers.usda.gov/foodatlas/downloadData.htm.

Description:

This United States Department of Agriculture App is for various states, counties in the US that are classified by food environment factors such as store/restaurant proximity, food prices, food, number of grocery stores etc. The data is further classified by ERS (USDA Economic Research Service) constructed farm region. ‘No data’ fields are either referenced by zero or referenced with ‘-9999’. Also, this data is from a variety of sources and cover varying years and geographic levels.
